On Sept 1 2018, West View Water Authority, the water supplier for the Municipal Water Authority of Adams Township, will be increasing water rates by approximately 31% to all their water customers.
The Municipal Water Authority of Adams Township has analyzed the financial impact to the Authority of the increase in water costs. The continued rising cost to operate the water distribution system has forced the Authority to institute a water rate increase of approximately 16% to all our customers. The rate increase will take effect on October 1, 2018.
The "average" residential customer using 4,500 gallons per month will see an increase of about $5.40 per month.
