The Municipal Water Authority of Adams Township purchases all our water from the West View Water Authority. West View operates 2 water treatment plants which draw water from the Ohio River. The raw water intakes are located over 20 and 30 miles upstream of the train incident site in Ohio. The Ohio River forms in Pittsburgh, and flows west through Ohio. Your water supply has not been impacted. West View is closely monitoring the situation, and will continue to meet or exceed D.E.P. Safe Drinking Water Standards.
